Sal Meli has over 20 years of legal experience representing clients in all aspects of real estate development, including the acquisition, sale, construction and financing of market rate and affordable housing projects. Sal also prepares condominium and cooperative offering plans and “no action” letters and guides developers through the regulatory process for submitting their properties to a cooperative or condominium ownership regime. Landlords and business owners rely on Sal’s expertise to negotiate commercial leases for them. He also helps clients with their sale and purchase of residential real estate.
Sal began his career began as a litigator at the New York City Law Department where he represented various New York City agencies in real estate related disputes. He uses his vast litigation experience to navigate clients through complex commercial disputes.
